今年休賽期Lebron James的去向將會再度成為NBA的重大話題，雖然LBJ本人已經表示會專注於打好這個賽季，但是各大媒體仍然作出許多不同的猜測，甚至出現廣告牌招募行動。
最近Stephen Jackson接受了Fox Sports'的 "First Things First"節目訪問，曾經效力過聖安東尼奧馬刺的Stephen Jackson表示，Lebron James應該在夏天選擇加盟聖城，而不是去湖人。
“我喜歡聖安東尼奧，” Jackson表示，“因為他從來沒有和Gregg Popovich這樣的教練合作過，我想他也沒有跟像Kawhi Leonard這麼出色的頂級防守者合作過， LaMarcus Aldridge現在也在那裡打球，我想Pau也能夠幫助到他們，這支球隊有Gregg Popovich在掌舵，我覺得會Lebron在那裡會很好。"
