Rondo沒答允小牛在今夏留隊，只表示小牛有優勢

達拉斯小牛在早前交換了Rajon Rondo後，一直相信對方將會留隊，在今夏約滿後會與球隊續約，可是他們並不知道最終會否如他所願。
在現時的制度下，Rondo不能提前續約換取高厚薪金，這是為何他和波士頓總經理所說，他會在球季中表現自己，以為自己增取優厚合約。

據<今日美國>的Sam Amick報導，Rajon Rondo沒有答予小牛留隊，Rondo表示，他一直專注的只有籃球，他在今夏仍然會成為自由身，會考慮所有條件，但小牛將會有優勢是因為他們對自己積極爭取。

引用“My focus has been basketball, basketball, basketball, not necessarily being a free agent,” Rondo said. “I mean obviously I think (the Mavericks will) have the upside (in free agency). I wouldn’t say it’s wide open (in terms of considering other teams), but I wouldn’t say it’s closed (solely to the Mavericks) either because obviously they are the team that came and got me and from Day One they’ve been very loyal and very supportive in this transition for me.”

一般相信，Rondo來季仍然會為小牛效力，因為這支球隊能夠為他付出頂薪合約，這是Rondo所希望的，而且小牛也是一支具爭標實力的球隊。

可是湖人和紐約人也是潛在買家，因為洛杉磯和紐約是巨星們夢寐以求的市場。
