Malone談及與Kobe的恩怨，要打架隨時奉陪

還記得2004年，湖人組成了一支黃金組合嗎，當年，兩屆MVP 「郵差」Karl Malone和「手套」Gary Payton加盟當時已擁有Shaquille O'Neal和Kobe Bryant的湖人。目的是為了得到一枚冠軍指環。可是，那個賽季湖人經歷了不和以及傷病問題，最終他們在總決賽不敵底特律活塞。
最近，Karl Malon接受了<哈芬登郵報>的訪問，訪問其中一個話題，便是和Kobe Bryant有關。

當年不和的導火線，是傳聞Karl Malone調戲了Kobe的妻子Vanessa。此事傳出後，雖然Malone一直否認，並稱自己不希望成為肥皂劇中的角色，但他們二人的關係便因此而決裂。

Karl Malone明顯還帶著仇恨，他認為結束恩怨的最佳方式，便是打一場架。

Malone承認二人有點過節，而他也是個傳統的西部人，以前的西部人解決恩怨都用刀和槍，那現時最好也找個沒有攝影機的地方並穿好護具，了結種種恩怨。

引用"We had a little issue. "

"I don't hold grudges ... I love Westerns. I'm old-school Western. Back in the day, when you had a beef, you didn't go get guns and knives ... we just go back in the back with no cameras and knuckle up. Get it over with."

Malone也表示，打架的要約隨時有效。Malone說自己6尺9吋、272磅，並不難找。意思是他隨時奉陪。

引用"It's a standing offer."

"Look, I don't want no trouble. I don't have a problem. People say whatever they want to say and that's great. I'm 6-9, 272 [pounds] to be exact. I'm not hard to find. I don't want no trouble. But if something got to go down, I'm not playing fair."

訪問曝光後，自然成為傳媒的話題。不過不少記者表示，勝負早已分明，即使Kobe Bryant比Malone年輕，而且相當好勝，也不會是摔角好手Malone的對手。當年Malone便曾與Dennis Rodman在擂台上決鬥。

不過，記者相信二人決鬥若放上屏幕，這決鬥的畫面將會得到很高收視。
