John Wall感覺灰熊不尊重他們

在全美電視直播的比賽上，灰熊把Marc Gasol、Zach Randolph、Tony Allen和Mike Conley收起。除了Mike Conley因傷未能上陣外，其餘3人也只是休息而已。結果灰熊以87-108被巫師擊敗。
賽後，Wall雖然對勝利感到愉快，但他對灰熊感到不滿。灰熊在這場比賽中排出的5人正選為：Beno Udrih、Courtney Lee、 Jeff Green、 JaMychal Green 和 Kosta Koufos。Wall不明白灰熊的決定，只是認為對手不尊重他們，因此，無論如何他們也要取勝。
