大衛.雷斯 : 希望盡快復出 一心為車路士爭冠!!!

A fit again David Luiz is champing at the bit to make an impression at Stamford Bridge once more, having firmly established himself as a favourite of the fans last term.

The Brazilian defender joined Chelsea from Benfica in January and slotted seamlessly into Carlo Ancelotti's side, while he notched important goals against Manchester City and Manchester United.

But there is a different regime at the Bridge these days, and Luiz has been unable to prove his worth to Andre Villas-Boas due to a persistent thigh injury.

However, the 24-year-old is expected to start for Brazil against Ghana on Monday night, and hopes to play a part in Villas-Boas' plans sooner rather than later.

"I didn't want to get injured, but these things happen in football," he told SunSport.

"I'm missing playing in the Premier League so much and I hope I get to play again very soon.

"It's very frustrating when you're hurt because you want to be out there. Everybody wants to work, especially when you love your job.

"Of course, when it's the coach's decision for me not to play it's very frustrating too, but you always want to get better as quickly as possible when you're injured.

"To play in a great team you have to have a great mentality to overcome all the difficulties."

He added: "Chelsea are a great team and always enter every competition to win.

"I'm sure we're going to do our very best to win the championship back from Manchester United."
