車路士面臨兩間西甲球會爭奪 蘇亞雷斯前隊友

Chelsea face competition from Sevilla and Valencia in the race to sign Gregory Van der Wiel.
The Dutch international was heavily linked with a move away from Ajax in the summer transfer window, with incorrect reports on deadline day even claiming the player was flying into London to complete a Blues move.

Instead, Andre Villas-Boas turned his attentions to Porto wing-back Alvaro Pereira, but after failing to land the Uruguayan defender, Chelsea attentions are thought to have turned back onto Van der Wiel.

However, reports in Spain claim Chelsea face competition from La Liga, with Los Che and Los Rojiblancos both eager to add the 23-year-old to their ranks.

Under contract until 2013, all parties are claimed to be hopeful that negotiations can once again be opened up with the Amsterdam Arena outfit at the turn of the year, when the player will only have 18 months remaining on his current deal.

Van der Wiel's versatility makes him an attractive proposition for all the interested parties, offering cover at both centre back, and more notably right back, where the Chelsea boss is believed to be looking to strengthen.

Chelsea are in the strongest financial position of the three clubs though, and are therefore well positioned to beat the opposition in January should Villas-Boas decide the player is the man for Stamford Bridge.
