[傳奇將續約?] 報導指 : 車路士向林柏特開出長約 到2015年

Chelsea will offer Frank Lampard a new contract that will keep him at Stamford Bridge until 2015, according to reports.

The 33-year-old has been an integral part of Chelsea’s success in recent years since the arrival of billionaire owner Roman Abramovich.

An injury-plagued 12 months has limited Lampard's first-team opportunities with both the Blues and England, and with his current deal set to expire next summer, there had been speculation that he would look to pastures new at the end of the current campaign.

However, his recent form has seen him reclaim his place for club and country and, according to the latest reports, the former West Ham player will be offered a new deal which will keep him at the club for the remainder of his career.

Boss Andre Villas-Boas has been determined to add youth and vigour to his side this season, and Lampard is seen as essential in guiding the likes of Josh McEachran and Daniel Sturridge as they begin their careers at the top level.

“[He is] always last off the training pitch,” said an insider at the club to The Mirror. “He is always looking to improve himself. And it is not for the benefit of Chelsea TV. He is just a great professional.”
