馬刺在選秀會前對 Kyle Kuzma 感興趣，可是最終選擇了 Derrick White！

湖人今年在NBA選秀賽會可算是大贏家，首先選中了他們心儀 Lonzo Ball，還得到夏季聯盟 MVP Kyle Kuzma 的加入，Kuzma 的表現什至比 Ball 還要好。近日，Kuzma 的訓練員 Clint Parker 表示當時馬刺對 Kuzma 感興趣，可是最終並沒有選中他。
「我記得當他進來湖人鍛煉的時候，他的投籃很好，身體質素很好，充滿信心。」

馬刺最終在第一輪選擇科羅拉多 Derrick White，他至今只為馬刺上陣七場比賽。至於 Kuzma 則是湖人重要的一員，場均得到17.8分，6.8個籃板及1.7次助攻，亦是今年年度最佳新秀的熱門人選。
