Aaron Gordon 因傷缺席入樽賽！魔術成為唯一一支球隊沒有球員參加任何全明星周末的比賽！

球迷們大部份都只會關注明星賽上陣的球員，而忽略了其他球員。外國討論區 Reddit 有籃球迷留意了魔術是今季唯一一支球隊並沒有球員參加任何全明星周末的比賽。本來魔術 Aaron Gordon 參與入樽賽，可是他因為受傷退出比賽。Gordon 是2016年入樽賽亞軍，如果他有份參與將會增加觀賞性，定必與爵士新秀 Donovan Mitchell 有一番龍爭虎鬥。

除了 Gordon 外，Jonathon Simmons 及 射手 Evan Fournier 絕對有能力參與入樽賽及三分球大賽。事實上，Fournier 今季三分命中率比今年冠軍三 Devin Booker 還要高，當然這並不代表他在三分球大賽表現更出色，但是亦證明他絕對有能力參與這個比賽。
